Corporate uniforms, your specification

Made to your tech pack, fabric and colours by a factory matched to the order.

Private label

Your main label, care label, hangtag and polybag. Nominated trims accepted.

A corporate uniform is a programme, not a garment. A hotel group or a bank fixes a palette, a set of garments and a size curve, then reorders the same items for years as staff join and garments wear out. A corporate uniform manufacturer in Bangladesh is judged on whether the third reorder matches the first delivery in shade, fit and logo.

Garments Hub BD splits the programme by construction, with shirts and blouses to woven shirt plants, suiting to tailoring plants and polos to knit plants, two of each on its bench, and compares the quotes on one sheet. Each approved PP sample becomes the reference that later reorders are inspected against.

Garments in a corporate uniform programme

Shirts and blouses

Poly cotton or cotton rich easy care shirting for front of house staff, in one fabric for men's shirts and women's blouses. Choose an easy care finish for staff who wash at home.

Trousers, skirts and blazers

Suiting in poly viscose or poly wool, cut from one cloth so jacket, trouser and skirt match. Choose a cloth with some stretch for roles that bend, climb or drive.

Polos and knit tops

Pique polos and jersey tops with an embroidered logo for retail floors, events and support staff. Choose them where a shirt is too formal and the garment is washed often.

Aprons and tabards

Twill, canvas or denim aprons for hospitality and retail, with pockets, adjustable neck straps and the logo above the bib pocket. Choose fabrics that survive hot washes and stains.

How to specify a uniform programme

Palette and standards
One shade standard per programme colour, with lab dips approved on each fabric base. Uniform colours stand side by side in public, so tolerances are tight.
Fabric standardisation
As few fabrics as the programme allows: one shirting, one suiting, one pique. Fewer fabrics mean fewer dye lots to match at every reorder.
Logo agreed once
Embroidery digitised once, with stitch file, thread colours, size and position per garment approved and kept as the programme reference.
Size curve by staff mix
Sizes ratioed from the staff roster by role and gender, with women's blouses and trousers on their own blocks rather than men's sizes relabelled.
Wearer trials
A small batch worn by real staff for several weeks before the programme is fixed, to test fit, comfort and wash life on the job.
Replenishment plan
Expected reorder sizes and timing, and whether greige fabric or finished garments should be held between orders, a term each factory accepts or declines at the quote.

Tests to ask a corporate uniform manufacturer in Bangladesh for

ISO 15797
Industrial laundering of workwear. If uniforms go to a commercial laundry, ask for fabric and garments tested through its wash and finishing cycles for shrinkage and shade.
ISO 105-C06
Colour fastness to washing. A reorder has to sit beside staff garments washed many times, so look at the fading grade as well as staining.
ISO 12947
Abrasion by the Martindale method, for trouser seats, skirt backs and blazer cuffs that rub on chairs and counters every shift.
SMETA
Many corporate buyers have supplier codes that call for a social audit, and a SMETA report shared through Sedex is a common way to meet them. Name the audit on the enquiry.

What moves the price of a corporate uniform programme

  • Programme volume and a firm reorder plan lower the price per piece.
  • Each extra fabric in the programme adds its own minimum and its own dye lots.
  • Blazers with fused or canvassed fronts and full linings cost far more than shirts or polos.
  • Embroidery stitch count and the number of logo positions on each garment.
  • Packing by employee name or site adds hand labour to every carton.

Lead time for corporate uniforms

The first season of a programme is the slow part: wearer trials, fit corrections and lab dips on every fabric come before PP approval, and each sample round runs 7 to 14 days. Bulk then typically takes 30 to 60 days after PP approval. Reorders on an approved spec start faster, since nothing is redeveloped, but the fabric still has to be dyed to the standard. The quote confirms the dates.

What we check on corporate uniforms before shipment

  • Shade against the last deliveryNew garments compared with the standard and with a retained piece from the previous delivery, under the agreed light.
  • Logo position and colourEmbroidery size, position and thread colours measured against the programme logo sheet on each garment type.
  • Men's and women's fitsWomen's blouses and trousers checked against their own spec, not against men's measurements under a women's label.
  • Packing by locationCartons checked against the distribution list by site, department or employee, with labels that match it.

Questions buyers ask about corporate uniforms

Can men's shirts and women's blouses share one fabric?

Yes, and they should. Cutting both from one shirting keeps the colour identical across the team and halves the dye lots to match at each reorder. The blouse still needs its own block with bust shaping; only the fabric is shared.

How do uniform reorders keep the same colour?

By reordering the same fabric quality, dyed to the same standard, with a lab dip approved against the original before bulk. Keep a sealed sample from the first delivery on your side. Expect a small difference from garments already in service, which fade with washing.

Can the factory hold stock for top ups?

Some factories will hold greige fabric or a small buffer of finished garments against a firm reorder plan; others will not. It is a commercial term, so ask for it on the enquiry and both factories answer on the quote. Without it, plan each reorder with full production time.

How many sizes should a uniform programme carry?

Enough to fit the staff without stocking sizes nobody wears. Build the curve from the staff roster by role and gender, cover outliers with a few special sizes, and let a wearer trial confirm it. Women's garments need their own size run.
