Denim Accessory Manufacturer in Bangladesh

Denim accessories are the one product on this site that a garment plant can make from cloth it already has. A denim trouser factory cuts panels and leaves offcuts, and a tote, an apron or a pouch is cut from exactly that. It is the cheapest add on to a denim order and the easiest sustainability story to tell truthfully, because the cloth is already bought. This page covers what we quote, and what needs a different unit.

We are a sourcing desk in Dhaka. We do not own a factory. Your enquiry goes to two denim plants from our bench, you get both quotes with our read on which suits the order, and our own person is on the floor for the inline and the final inspection.

One honest limit up front. A denim garment plant sews flat panels well. It does not make caps (that needs a headwear unit, see [caps](/categories/cap-manufacturer-bangladesh.html)) and it does not make leather trimmed accessories to a leather standard. Everything below is inside what the denim bench can actually do.

Denim accessory types we source

Denim Tote Bag

Two panels, a gusset or a flat base, webbing or self fabric handles. The volume item, and the one that carries a print or an embroidery best.

Denim Shopper

Larger, unstructured, often with a raw or folded top edge and an internal pocket. Cheaper than a tote with a lining and it reads as deliberate rather than plain.

Denim Apron

Bib or waist, adjustable neck strap, one or two front pockets, cross back or tie back. The item most often ordered by cafes and workshops, and a good repeat line.

Denim Pouch

Zipped flat pouch in three or four sizes, lined or unlined. Cheap, useful as a giveaway and the easiest first order to test a plant's zip work.

Denim Laptop Bag

Padded sleeve inside a denim shell, zip or flap closure. Give us the device dimensions in millimetres rather than a model name.

Denim Pencil Case

Small zipped case, often the offcut product in a range. Priced per piece at a level where the zip is a real share of the cost.

Denim Backpack

Two straps, a drawcord or a zip top, a padded back panel if you want one. The strap anchor needs a reinforcement patch and a bar tack.

Denim Storage Basket

Stiffened panels, a folded top cuff, sometimes a rope handle. A homeware item made on garment machines, and a useful way into a different buyer.

Cloth, and the offcut question

Any denim from 8 to 14 ounces works. Heavier cloth needs less interlining and holds a shape, so 12 ounces and up is usual for a tote or a basket, and 8 to 10 ounces suits an apron or a pouch.

Two ways to buy the cloth, and they are genuinely different products:

New cloth, cut to your specification and your shade. Consistent, repeatable, and priced like any denim order.

Offcuts from a running order, which is cheaper and where the honest sustainability claim lives. The trade off is that shade and cloth vary between pieces, because the offcuts come from whatever the plant was cutting. If you want this, agree a shade band rather than a shade and expect panel to panel variation. Say in your own marketing that the variation is the point, or a customer will read it as a fault.

Do not claim recycled or upcycled on a hangtag unless the chain of custody is documented. If the claim goes on the product, tell us at the enquiry and we will only quote plants that can evidence it.

Construction and hardware

The things that decide whether a denim accessory lasts:

• Handles. Self fabric, cotton webbing or leather look PU. Webbing is strongest for the money. Ask for a bar tack at every handle anchor and a reinforcement patch behind it.
• Base. Flat, gusseted or boxed. A boxed base with a stiffener is what makes a tote stand up.
• Lining. Cotton drill, polyester or unlined with overlocked seams. Unlined is cheaper and perfectly good on a heavy denim.
• Zips. Nominate the brand and gauge. A cheap zip on a pouch is the only part that will fail.
• Interlining and stiffener in the base and the top cuff, which is what separates a bag that stands from a bag that slumps.

Decoration: screen print, embroidery, or a woven or leather look patch. On a heavy indigo denim a light print needs a white base layer, so ask for a print strike off on the real cloth before bulk.

Wash, or no wash

An accessory can ship raw, rinsed or washed like a garment. Raw denim is stiff, dark and will crock, meaning the indigo rubs off onto light clothing. For a bag that sits against a shirt, ask for a rinse at minimum and ask for a crocking test. This is the single most common complaint on denim accessories and it is entirely avoidable.

If the accessories go alongside a jeans order, say so and the laundry runs them together so the shades match.

Sizing and specification

There is no size curve, which makes this the simplest specification on the site. Send the finished dimensions in millimetres: width, height, base depth, handle length and drop, and the internal pocket sizes. For an apron send the body length and width plus the strap lengths and the adjustment range.

We measure the pre production sample against the drawing and send you the numbers before bulk cutting starts.

Quality control

Inline inspection while the line runs. Final inspection to AQL 2.5 unless your standard differs, with the photo report before the goods move. On denim accessories we check handle anchor pull strength, bar tack presence at every stress point, base stiffener and shape, zip function on every sampled piece, finished dimensions against the drawing, print or embroidery registration, crocking on a cut sample, and shade consistency, which on an offcut order is judged against the agreed band rather than a single shade.

Compliance differs by plant. The factories on our bench hold different combinations of BSCI, Sedex, WRAP, OEKO-TEX and GRS. Tell us what your buyer requires and we will only quote plants that already hold it, with the certificate attached to the quote.

• Wash: raw, rinsed or washed, and whether it matches a jeans order
• Handle, base, lining and stiffener spec

• Artwork as vector with Pantone references, and the decoration method
• Any recycled or upcycled claim that will appear on the product
• Quantity per colour, your target price and your ship date
