Streetwear, your specification

Made to your tech pack, fabric and colours by a factory matched to the order.

Private label

Your main label, care label, hangtag and polybag. Nominated trims accepted.

Streetwear is bought as a drop rather than a style: a heavyweight tee, an oversized hoodie, a cargo pant, a bomber and a cap in one palette, released together. A streetwear manufacturer in Bangladesh is therefore several plants: a knit plant for tees and fleece, a woven plant for cargos and bombers, and headwear units for caps, all working to one colour story and one launch date.

Garments Hub BD splits the drop by plant, sends each part to plants on its bench that already run those weights and finishes, and lines the quotes up so the cost of the whole drop is visible. Caps and beanies have no bench yet, so the desk finds, vets and visits a unit for them and comes back with a real quote or a straight no.

Kinds of streetwear

Heavyweight and oversized tees

Cotton jersey usually 220 to 300 GSM, cut on a boxy or drop shoulder block with a thick neck rib. The core of most drops and the piece carrying the main graphic.

Heavyweight and oversized hoodies

Brushed or loopback fleece usually 350 to 450 GSM, with a double hood and dropped shoulders. The costliest knit piece in a drop and the one most often garment dyed.

Cargo pants and cargo jeans

Baggy or straight cargos in cotton twill or ripstop from a woven plant, and cargo jeans in rigid or washed denim from a plant with its own laundry.

Bomber and coach jackets

Nylon or satin finish polyester shells with rib trims, padded or unlined, from an outerwear plant. Often the drop's statement piece, carrying embroidery or a printed lining.

Five panel caps and beanies

Caps from a cap unit and beanies from a knitting unit, each found and vetted for the enquiry. Their colours are lab dipped against the same palette as the garments.

What to send a streetwear manufacturer in Bangladesh

Weight per piece
GSM for each knit and oz or GSM for each woven, for example a 260 GSM tee, a 400 GSM hoodie and a 10 oz twill cargo. Weight is what a streetwear customer feels first.
Finish per piece
Garment dye, pigment dye, acid wash, puff print, DTG, embroidery or chenille patch, and where each sits. Each finish runs on a different floor or unit.
One palette
A colour reference for every shade across tees, fleece, twill and caps. Each cloth takes dye differently, so each gets its own lab dip against the same standard.
Fit by measurement
Oversized and boxy fits as a measurement sheet per size, with shoulder drop, body width and length, not as a size label.
Run split
Pieces per style, colour and size. A first drop often runs a few hundred pieces per style across two or three colours and four or five sizes.
Labels and packaging
Woven neck labels or printed necks, hangtags and branded polybags, with artwork for each. Labels are ordered with the fabric, not after it.

Tests for streetwear

AATCC 150
Dimensional change of garments in home laundering. Run it on the finished, garment dyed piece, since the dye house's shrinkage and the customer's first wash add together.
ISO 12945-2
Pilling by modified Martindale on the fleece face. Heavy hoodies are worn hard and washed often, and pills on a plain front show at a glance.
ISO 105-C06
Washing fastness, read for staining onto white. Garment dyed tees and hoodies with white puff print can bleed into the print in the first home washes.
ISO 13934-1
Tensile strength of woven fabric. Acid washed and heavily enzyme washed cargo twill loses strength, so test the washed cloth, not the cloth before washing.

What moves the price of streetwear

  • Fabric weight: heavy jersey and fleece are bought by the kilo, so every extra gram per square metre costs.
  • Garment dye and washes, which add a process, a shrinkage allowance and some rejects.
  • Decoration count: puff print, embroidery and chenille patches on one piece each add a step.
  • Oversized blocks, which use more cloth per piece and cut less efficiently from the roll.
  • Spread of colours and sizes across a small first run.

Lead time for streetwear

A drop moves at the pace of its slowest piece, usually the bomber or the garment dyed hoodie. Heavy fleece is often knitted and dyed to order, garment dye and washing add a stage after sewing, and chenille patches come from a separate unit. Caps and beanies follow their own route. Give the launch date with the enquiry, and the quote dates each piece against it.

What we check on streetwear before shipment

  • Palette across plantsTees, hoodies, cargos and caps from different units are laid together under one light against the drop's colour standard.
  • Puff print risePuff prints on washed pieces are checked for even height, cracking at the edges and position against the spec.
  • Oversized measurementsShoulder drop, body width and length are measured on each size after any garment dye, against the finished chart.
  • Neck and back graphicsPrinted necks and woven labels are checked for position, and back graphics for level placement from the neck seam.

Questions buyers ask about streetwear

Can tees, hoodies and cargos go in one streetwear enquiry?

Yes. The enquiry is split by plant and each part is quoted by plants that run that cloth, with every line on one sheet. Fabric, finishing and sampling run in parallel, so the pieces can be timed to one launch, while caps and beanies take their own route.

Which finish gives heavy tees and hoodies a vintage look?

Pigment garment dye, where colour sits on the surface and washes back at seams and edges, or an acid wash on dyed pieces for a mottled fade. Both add shrinkage and some rejects. Reactive garment dye gives a cleaner, deeper shade when the look should stay crisp.

How does a first drop of a few hundred pieces come together?

By keeping the cloth common. One heavy jersey for the tees, one fleece for the hoodies and a short palette let fabric minimums be shared across styles, while sizes inside each colour pool. A different fabric for every style, or many colours, pushes each line below the minimum.

Puff print or embroidery for a raised logo?

Puff print is cheaper on large graphics and keeps the fabric soft around the design. Embroidery, including 3D puff stitching, lasts longer and reads as more costly on a chest logo. Many drops print the back graphic and embroider the chest mark.
