Low twist face cloths
Pile yarn with fewer turns per inch opens into a fuller, softer loop. It is gentler on the face than standard twist and costs less than zero twist, which suits a small piece.
Bamboo viscose blend cloths
Cotton terry blended with viscose made from bamboo, in a share the label must state, for a silky handle and a cool feel. Viscose is weaker when wet, so the care label should ask for a gentle wash.
Overlocked multipack washcloths
Cut from wide terry and finished with an overlocked edge instead of a folded hem. Lower in cost and common in packs of twelve for household ranges, though the edge wears sooner.
How to brief a face towel manufacturer in Bangladesh

- State the size after one wash, not the cut size. On a 30 centimetre piece a small loss on each side is easy to see and can pull the cloth out of square.

- Face cloths are often specified in grams per piece, typically 35 to 60 grams, which is easier to check on a scale than GSM on so small an area.
- Pile yarn

- Edge finish
- Choose a folded hem on all four sides, a hem with a dobby band, or an overlocked edge, and give the overlock thread colour.

Mostly the market's word for it. UK and European buyers say face cloth and usually mean about 30 by 30 centimetres; US buyers say washcloth and often mean 13 by 13 inches. The construction is the same, so the brief only needs the finished size and the edge.
Is a bamboo blend face cloth softer than cotton?
It usually feels smoother and cooler on the skin, because the viscose fibre is fine and has a sheen. It is weaker when wet and can lose shape sooner, so the care label should call for a gentle wash. Cotton terry is the sturdier choice for a cloth used every day.
Hemmed or overlocked edges for a face cloth?
Hemmed edges last longer and look finished, which suits gift sets and skincare brands. Overlocked edges cost less and suit large multipacks sold on price. The overlock thread and its stitch density both show, so approve them on the sample.
Can face cloths come in mixed colour packs?
Yes, as long as the colours per pack are agreed and each shade is fast enough not to stain its neighbours in the first wash. Ask for wash fastness on the dark shades in the pack, and plan cartons by pack combination rather than by colour.
